Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable Welder / Fabricator for a client in Grapevine, TX. This is a hands-on manufacturing role supporting the fabrication, welding, assembly, and quality inspection of aluminum flagpoles, flagpole components, and specialty products. The right candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, be comfortable reading shop drawings or blueprints, and take pride in building a finished product that must meet quality standards before it leaves the facility. Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour, based on experience Schedule: First Shift / 6AM to 2:30 PM (5AM to 1:30PM during summer months) / Overtime available as needed Key Duties: Fabricate and assemble aluminum flagpoles, components, and specialty products Perform MIG welding as part of the production and fabrication process Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, job orders, bills of material, and part specifications Inspect welds, parts, and finished products for quality, accuracy, and appearance Track jobs, materials, and time using basic computer systems Move materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment Assist with inventory, cycle counts, material organization, and staging Prepare finished products for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area What We're Looking For: Welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly experience preferred Aluminum fabrication or aluminum welding experience is a strong plus Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, or shop drawings Strong MIG welding experience is required Forklift or material handling experience is a required Basic computer/data entry skills Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn Able to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements: Stand for full shift Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Bend, lift, move, and work around industrial equipment Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, heat, and PPE requirements Benefits Through Express: Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision options Paid time off Long-term opportunity with room to grow Why Apply: This is a solid opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work and wants to build long-term skills in aluminum welding, fabrication, and American-made manufacturing.
