Hardware Engineer

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting cross‑functional teams. Job Title Hardware Engineer Location Boise, ID What's the Job? Interface with cross‑functional teams to ensure hardware design meets firmware, diagnostic, and system‑level requirements. Participate in architecture definition, design reviews, and requirements generation for SSD products. Perform basic signal and power integrity measurements, document, and communicate results effectively. Simulate and analyze design proposals, review results, and recommend best practices to optimize hardware design. Design hardware for large‑scale manufacturing, considering DFx and cost‑efficiency, and take ownership of the hardware throughout the product lifecycle. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred. Strong understanding of circuit design, signal integrity, and semiconductor design fundamentals. Experience with PCB design tools such as Cadence Sigrity, Allegro, and HyperLynx. Practical lab experience with high‑bandwidth measurements (20‑35 GHz) using equipment like Teledyne Lecroy SDA820Zi‑B Oscilloscope and Agilent MSO‑X 92004A. Knowledge of high‑speed interfaces such as SATA, SAS, PCIe Gen 3&4, ONFI, and power supply design including PDN simulations. What's in it for me?
