Yard Hand / Laborer

Future Infrastructure, a Primoris Company has an immediate opening for a Yard Hand / Laborer in Creedmoor, TX.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized yard, shop, and fleet area.
2. Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials to job site.
3. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of fleet vehicles and equipment.
4. Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe working condition.
5. Support mechanics and technicians with various shop tasks as needed.
6. Operate forklifts, loaders, and other equipment.
7. Follow all safety guidelines and Company policies.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Fleet Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with Trade School or Mechanical Background
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Previous experience in a shop, yard, or laborer role preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform demanding tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and Windows based software
• English required.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on an as needed basis.
• Standing, walking, including uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously.
• Close vision is required for some and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety.
