Future Opening: Nurse for Home Care Agency

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Are you an energetic person with a passion to help people? We're looking for a compassionate, caring LPN with the ability to think on the fly to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to train caregivers in proper usage of PPE's and caring for Covid-19 clients.

Essential Functions:

• Training and monitoring caregivers who would take care of COVID-19 patients in their homes.
• Proper usage of PPE.
• Compliance to CDC guidelines for taking care of COVID-19 patients.

Introductions:

• Introduce caregivers to clients as requested by the Scheduling Coordinator.

Assessments:

• Perform initial assessments as needed.

Backup Caregiver Work:

• Acting as first line fill-in for any last-minute shifts we are unable to fill with current caregiver staff.

Mentoring Caregivers:

• Act as an expert in client care and working with Caregivers as a mentor.
• Implement field employee safety programs.

Supervisory Visits:

• As required by IDPH Requirements.

Requirements:

• A caring heart wanting to make an impact on people's lives.

• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Forward-thinker (always strategically thinking ahead).
• Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities. Excellent telephone and interpersonal relations abilities.
• Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Constantly striving to go above and beyond to achieve the highest possible customer service.
• Be available for on-call duty outside of normal office hours (including caregiving).
