Registered Nurse (RN) - Satellite Department: 34603 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing: 5A Satellite Status: Full time | Benefits Eligibility: Yes | Hours per week: 36 Schedule Details: 3 12‑hour shifts per week, weekend rotation, holiday rotation. Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour. Sign‑on bonus available to applicants who have not received a sign‑on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months. The Satellite department consists of 4 Med/Surg and 4 Medical Telemetry units, totaling 34 beds. It is dedicated to delivering safe, quality care to patients seamlessly, optimizing patient flow and capacity by easing pressure on the Emergency Department. We cater to a diverse patient population experiencing a wide array of acute diagnoses such as chest pain, pneumonia, electrolyte imbalances, diabetes, cellulitis, trauma injuries, and mental health conditions. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Minimum 6 months of RN experience. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills‑based communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Premium pay such as shift and on‑call pay based on job responsibilities.
