Job Description:

Veracross is seeking a senior people leader to build, manage, and scale our global Sales Development function. As Sr. Director, Global Sales Development, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for leading a global team of SDRs across NAM, EMEA, and APAC — coaching them to exceed targets, developing future sales talent, and building the culture and systems that drive consistent, high-quality pipeline. This is a hybrid role requiring in-person work at our Wakefield, MA headquarters several days per week.

Success in this role starts with the team. You will be accountable for the hiring, development, performance, and retention of a global SDR team — and for the SQL quality, pipeline volume, and funnel conversion that strong SDR leadership produces. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage a global SDR team across NAM, EMEA, and APAC to consistently hit SQL quota targets by theater. 

• Own inbound conversion and outbound pipeline creation globally; partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to analyze conversion at every stage and drive pipeline quality and velocity. 

• Build and embed a proactive, outbound-first team culture across all theaters; establish, enforce, and continuously optimize speed-to-lead SLA defined by campaign type. 

• Define, own, and improve full-funnel conversion metrics (TOFU→MOFU→BOFU), with quarter-over-quarter improvement in pipeline health and conversion rates. 

• Build and execute an SDR-to-AE progression pathway; actively develop top talent, identify and manage underperformers within defined timelines, and maintain a strong recruiting capability to backfill and grow the team. 

• Deliver a standing reporting cadence to the CRO and CMO on SDR performance, pipeline contribution, funnel health, and forward-looking insights. 

• Surface insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet needs; bring proactive solutions to improve pipeline quality and velocity. 

• Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations and Finance to identify opportunities to decrease sales cycle length, increase sales velocity, and grow bookings. 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a B2B SaaS revenue organization with ACV of $20K+. 

• 3–5+ years managing a global SDR team of 6–8+ direct reports. 

• SDR team achieved 80%+ of SQL quota for at least 2 of the last 3 years under direct management. 

• Promoted at least 2 SDRs to Account Executive or equivalent over their tenure. 

• Fluent in Salesforce — 3–5+ years building and pulling reports and dashboards. 

• Demonstrated fluency in AI tools with a proactive approach to leveraging technology to enhance team performance, improve workflows, and drive efficiency. 

• Defines, tracks, and reports on full-funnel conversion metrics (TOFU→MOFU→BOFU) with 3+ years of direct ownership. 

• Experience in a revenue organization that scaled through $100M+ ARR. 

• Has presented SDR metrics and pipeline contribution to C-suite on at least a quarterly cadence for 1+ years. 

• Proven success hiring and ramping SDR teams from scratch — not just inheriting existing teams. 

• Track record building in-person/hybrid team culture. 

• Strong written and oral communication skills, including executive-level presentations. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $150k to $210k OTE (annualized USD)
