Job Title: Permanent Physician - Family Medicine

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient adult primary care for approximately 20 patients per day.
• Perform detailed patient assessments including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
• Provide both in-person and virtual healthcare services as needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation within the EMR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support departmental goals.
• Stay current with advancements in medicine through continuing education.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Note: Not accepting locum or new graduate candidates.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency program.
• Active Texas Medical License.
• Experience in outpatient adult medicine or primary care.
• Ability to work effectively with a healthcare team and the community.
• Demonstrated patient-centered behavior.
• Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
• At least one professional reference within the past 24 months.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required).
• Must be currently licensed for the practice of medicine in Texas (required).
