Business Analyst - Procurement & Logistics

*This position requires a TS/SCI clearance for consideration* Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Business Analyst – Procurement & Logistics to support a DoD customer based in Newington, VA . This position is a full-time onsite role. This role is critical in strengthening procurement operations, streamlining technology lifecycle activities, and ensuring efficient subcontract establishment in support of mission-critical capabilities. As a Business Analyst – Procurement & Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating procurement workflows, enhancing asset lifecycle management, and supporting logistics operations within a high-demand, secure environment. Key Responsibilities Support procurement workflows, including purchase request creation, approval tracking, and vendor coordination. Assist in managing technology lifecycle activities, including asset tracking, inventory management, and equipment refresh cycles. Coordinate and support subcontract establishment processes to enable timely program execution. Maintain and update documentation, dashboards, and workflows using tools such as Confluence, Grafana, ServiceNow, and Excel. Track procurement activities, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve procurement and logistics challenges. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and federal contracting requirements. Manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality outputs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree 3–5 years of relevant experience Experience with procurement workflows, purchase request creation, and vendor coordination Familiarity with asset tracking or lifecycle management systems Proficiency with Confluence, Grafana, ServiceNow, Microsoft Excel, and related productivity tools Strong communication and customer-service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems Active TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Skills Experience supporting federal programs or task orders Knowledge of subcontract establishment processes Background in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics operations Compensation Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 *based on experience* Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law.
