General Laborer
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a General Laborer role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and basic equipment operation.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support production or warehouse teams with daily operational needs.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to ensure a secure workplace.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory organization and material staging.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals and deadlines.
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or operational challenges to supervisors.
- Participate in routine maintenance and general upkeep of work areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous general labor, construction, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work assigned schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
Schedule & Pay:
$17.00/hour Four 10-hour shifts (MondayThursday)
