Quality Manager

Overview We are representing a globally recognized Industrial Manufacturing organization actively seeking a Quality Manager at their flagship operation. The company has been named a Top Places to Work based on benefits, compensation, and employee satisfaction. The Plant Manager is looking to begin the interview process ASAP. Responsibilities Report to the Plant Manager while leading a department of 3 direct reports and maintaining a strong working relationship with the Director of Quality. Own the department's financial/budgetary responsibilities. Own the plant quality function while working cross-functionally with different departments. Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals. Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Direct and drive the utilization of problem-solving methods for related plant and customer issues. Work closely with plant staff to develop \"HI-POT\" talent. Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOPs, and lean manufacturing. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required for consideration (preference for Engineering/technical field). Candidate should be a Plant/Operations-driven Quality Leader with a strong background in Root Cause Analysis/Problem Solving.
