Production Technician

Production TechnicianThe Production Technician is responsible for independently performing vehicle upfit installations including mechanical and basic electrical work. This role executes builds according to specifications while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.Work Schedule:M-Thurs: 5:00am-3:30pmFriday: Possible overtime (expect 40+ hours weekly)Essential Job Functions and Duties:Perform installation of interior components, equipment, and systemsRead and follow build sheets and basic blueprintsUse power tools and equipment safely and effectivelyMeasure, cut, and fit materials accuratelyPerform basic troubleshooting and identify issues early in the build processDisassemble and reinstall vehicle components as needed (interior panels, trim, etc.)Work with adhesives, sealants, and basic electrical tools (soldering, wiring support)Maintain production pace and quality expectationsComply with Driverge's Core Values (LOVE IT) and all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and PPE requirements.Other duties as assignedPosition Qualifications and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent1+ years in manufacturing, automotive, or mechanical assembly preferredAbility to read tape measures and basic printsStrong tool familiarity (saws, drills, routers, etc.)Mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a valid driver's licenseSkills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Physical Demands/Work Environment:Must be able to complete physical activities (walking, standing, talking, kneeling, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
