Registered Nurse - Full-time

About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Old Bridge, NJ Facility: Old Bridge Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
