Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes, Florida has an opening for full-time Grade 2 Teacher Aide for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and lead small group lessons. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:

• Required- High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
