OFC Creations The Old Farm Café – Rochester, NY (Onsite) Full-Time Non-Exempt $20.50–$23/hr + Benefits Schedule includes weekdays, evenings, weekends, and event shifts.
OFC's The Old Farm Café is seeking a hands-on Café General Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced, creative environment supporting OFC's performing arts programming. This role combines café leadership, catering oversight, event support, and seasonal food service operations.
What You'll Do

• Lead, train, schedule, and support café staff; uphold excellent guest service.
• Oversee daily operations, opening/closing procedures, safety, and DOH compliance.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Create and update catering menus; assist with client needs for private rentals and events.
• Coordinate concessions and catering for performances, special events, and offsite venues.
• Support house management during shows, including ticketing assistance through the box office system.
• Maintain adjacent spaces (Studio B, rehearsal areas, hallways, exterior walkways) and manage equipment servicing.
• Interview and recruit café team members.
• Oversee camp lunch programs and weekly snack/smoothie operations for seasonal youth programs.

What You Bring

• Experience in café, restaurant, catering, or hospitality leadership.
• Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
• Cash-handling and POS experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 30–40 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
