We’re currently looking for a Part-Time After School Nanny in Cedar Grove, NJ 07009

A lovely family in Cedar Grove, near Montclair area, seeks a part-time after-school nanny for their two children, ages 16 months and 4 years, for an immediate start. Care is needed Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM-6:30 PM. The nanny will pick up the 4-year-old from preschool by 4:00 PM and may also occasionally be asked to pick up the 16-month-old from daycare before returning to the family's home, where care will continue for both children until 6:30 PM. The 4-year-old has a few severe food allergies so the family is looking for someone who is comfortable managing food allergies and following the family's allergy-safety procedures. The family is looking for a reliable, long-term nanny who can provide consistent after-school care throughout the school year and ideally continue into the following school year.

• Start Date: Immediate
• Length of Position: Long-term
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-6:30 PM
• Compensation: $29 per hour

• Preschool pick-up and child-related transportation as needed
• Preparing simple meals/dinner for the children
• Bath-time routines for the children
• Diaper changing for the 16-month-old
• Providing attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for both children
• Following all food-allergy safety guidelines provided by the family

• 2 years of paid professional toddler experience
• CPR certified, or willing to become certified
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
• Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle to transport the children

This position pays $29 per hour, and the family is looking for 10 hours of care per week.
