Senior Manager, VSL - Sustaining Production (Onsite)

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Value Stream professional to lead transformative programs and projects within our Oxygen and Passenger Service Units business onsite in Lenexa, KS. What You Will Do Lead risk and opportunity management for programs in production. Lead multiple cross‑functional projects simultaneously. Coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, operative budgets, specifications, and contract financial conditions to ensure legal compliance and protect the organization’s interests. Lead large programs to develop program plans, schedules, and budgets. Establish key performance indicators and direct work to achieve these targets. Analyze data and monitor programs to ensure adherence to cost, schedule, and technical specifications. Maintain and present plans and progress reports related to business aspects of the program to senior leadership and customers. Implement continuous improvement initiatives (CORE, lean, or Six Sigma) to optimize efficiency and quality. Identify and address program problems, recommending resolutions to ensure successful performance including field service safety, customer satisfaction, obsolescence, work transfers, capacity improvements, and supplier requests. Lead program work with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with customer objectives during development and production phases. Direct program phases from start of production through completion (sunsetting) of program. Interface with customers for program requirements to ensure successful completion. Manage contract lifecycle, cost, schedule, and performance of company programs or subsystems. Travel up to 10% of the time. Qualifications Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 7 years of experience. Experience with manufacturing operations and/or supply chain. Experience working with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Engineering degree or technical background. Expert or mastery level knowledge of the work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Deep knowledge of project management and related disciplines, and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs, or systems. PMP certification.
