We're seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join the team for the 2026–2027 academic year ! In this role, you'll aide in the support and guidance of high-risk and special needs students through academic instruction, social-emotional development, and enrichment activities in a low student-to-teacher ratio setting. High level of support for all staff. Apply Today!
Responsibilities:
- Aide in the delivery of academic instruction and mentor students in a supportive, flexible learning environment
- Aide in the delivery of social-emotional learning, art, physical education, and independent study into the curriculum
- Support students with IEPs and/or behavioral challenges using empathy, structure, and creativity
- Collaborate with staff and caregivers to promote student engagement and progress
- Maintain accurate records and communication related to student performance and development
Requirements:
- Experience working with high-risk and/or special needs students in K–12 settings
- Strong knowledge of core academic subjects and adaptive learning modalities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Creative, patient, and relationship-driven approach to teaching
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet in dynamic situations

- School Hours | Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
