As a Physical Therapist Assistant , youll contribute to our mission to provide high-quality care to patients at home. The PTA performs direct physical therapy services under supervision, following the Plan of Care and physicians orders, and promotes optimal patient outcomes through instruction, support, and safe care techniques.

• Promotes Elara Carings mission and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
• Performs direct therapy services in accordance with accepted practice standards and physician certification.
• Follows and verifies the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Incorporates patient goals and provides instruction on the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
• Adheres to State Practice Act guidelines.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in the home therapy program.
• Works in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting and patient transfers.
• May work irregular hours, including on-call if applicable.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months of PTA experience preferred.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area (up to 50%).
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, or support up to 50 pounds.
