Travel X-Ray Technologist – Nights

Location: Lapeer, Michigan
Shift: Nights (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
On-Call: None

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join its Imaging Department on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, producing high-quality images, and ensuring exceptional patient care while working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients correctly and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain equipment and report any operational issues.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Active state license if required
• BLS Certification preferred
• Hospital-based imaging experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
