Endoscopy TechnicianMemorial Hermann Texas International Endoscopy Center is a premier outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a safe and efficient environment. Our center features 1 Operating Room and 3 Treatment Rooms, equipped with advanced technology that enables our surgeons to perform a variety of procedures in the specialty area of Gastroenterology. We are committed to excellence, innovation, and compassionate service for every patient we serve.We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician with experience in both scrub tech duties and sterile processing to join our PRN team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about maintaining the highest standards of surgical support and instrument sterilization.Responsibilities:Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for proceduresEnsure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, maintained, and storedAssist surgical team by anticipating needs during proceduresMaintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control policiesPerform decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentsMonitor sterilizer cycles and document quality assurance checksSupport room turnover and restocking of surgical suppliesCommunicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and SPD staff to ensure seamless operationsFollow all facility policies, safety regulations, and accreditation standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of an accredited Endoscopy Technician or Surgical Technology certificate/associate program preferredKnowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiologyCertification such as CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor) preferred, but not always requiredCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certificationWhat We OfferAs an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following, subject to employment status:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverageLife and AD&D coverageAvailability of short- and long-term disabilityFlexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs401(k) and access to retirement planningPaid holidays and vacationWho We AreAt USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
