Superintendent

Bartek Construction Co., a San Antonio underground utility construction company, is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent/Project Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee entire construction process from mobilization to close out. Maintain project schedule and coordinate department personnel and equipment accordingly. Monitor construction projects and ensure a successful and timely completion. Communicate details of the project to appropriate individuals, both with Bartek management, GC and Owner representatives as needed. Attend all production meetings. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Maintain administrative aspects of job, including marked prints, daily production reports, etc. Report and maintain reports for change order submission, if appropriate. Assist estimators in the bidding process. Qualifications: Must demonstrate a sound understanding of underground utility installation and supervision of construction operations. Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of underground utility construction practices and methods. Must have experience with underground utility projects ranging from $250K to $2M range. Must have experience handling multiple jobs at the same time. Degree a plus, but not required with appropriate experience. Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
