Position Overview

We're in search of a proficient and caring Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist eager to join our thriving imaging team dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care. Here, you'll utilize advanced ultrasound technology to execute essential diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a nurturing group of healthcare professionals, and instill peace of mind in patients as you deliver accurate, timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining each phase clearly and compassionately
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure superior diagnostic imaging quality
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions without delay
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Essential Skills

• Expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
