Job Description:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to the pediatric population, including critical care ventilator management and handling respiratory diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients, including those with Cystic Fibrosis and chronic tracheostomy/ventilator needs.
- Manage ventilators and other respiratory management devices such as CPAP/BIPAP/HHFNC.
- Deliver respiratory medications and interventions.
- Participate in ECMO program and utilize specialized gases like Nitric Oxide and Heliox.
Requirements:
- 1 year of PICU experience within the last 5 years.
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, RRT, and WA state license.
- Skills in critical care ventilator management and respiratory disease management of pediatric patients.
- EMR proficiency in EPIC is required.
