Auto Repair Mechanic - General Service Technician
Nealey Tire & Auto is looking for an Auto Repair Mechanic - General Service Technician in Rockville, MD, USA. The position offers a pay range of $18 - $24 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a retirement plan with a company match, paid time off, paid technical training, and more.
At Nealey Tire & Auto, we invest in our team. We provide full-time Auto Repair Mechanics - General Service Technicians with paid training and hands-on coaching to help them succeed. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in Rockville, MD, who will mentor you as you refine your skills and work toward ASE certifications.
We are a professional, purpose-driven, full-service auto repair facility with multiple locations in the surrounding area. This is a full-time automotive repair position within normal business hours. We have convenient locations in Annapolis, Rockville, Edgewater, Pasadena, Deale, and Owings, MD. You will have the option to choose which location you are interested in working at.
As our Auto Repair Mechanic - General Service Technician, you'll be at the front line of vehicle care, ensuring that cars are inspected, serviced, and running smoothly. Each day, you'll hit the ground running-inspecting vehicles with urgency, performing oil changes, alignments, and fluid maintenance, and handling tire services with precision. But it's not just about turning wrenches-you'll also help maintain a clean, organized shop that allows the team to work efficiently. Along the way, you'll be learning, improving, and getting closer to becoming an expert technician. Every vehicle you service is another step toward mastering the trade. Your growth starts here!
Requirements:
- 6+ months of automotive repair experience or a high school diploma or automotive technical school program certificate
- Ability and desire to work with your hands
- Mechanically-inclined
