Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with strong proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography and stress echo procedures on Philips Epiq equipment.

Details

• Primarily outpatient setting focused on transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs)
• Expected caseload of 7–10 echocardiograms per 10-hour shift
• Procedures include transthoracic echocardiograms, treadmill stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo
• Uses Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment
• 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Proficiency with Philips Epiq machines required
• Strong skills in treadmill and Dobutamine stress echo required, including prepping stress studies, taking blood pressures, and operating the stress cart
• Ability to independently scan up to 10 patients in a 10-hour shift
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include performing outpatient TTEs and stress echocardiograms independently
• Candidates must be self-sufficient in stress echo workflows, including patient prep and stress cart operation
