We are currently seeking Full-Time CNC Machine Operators to join our team at our Austin, TX facility. We are hiring for both Second Shift (2 PM - 12:30 PM, 4 10 hour shifts) and Third Shift (Friday to Sunday 5 am- 5:30 pm) positions. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate part production. Machine Setup: Load raw materials, fixtures, tooling, and workholding devices while ensuring proper machine setup prior to production. Program Execution: Load and execute CNC programs, verify machine operations, and make approved offsets or adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and maximize efficiency. First Article & In-Process Inspection: Perform first-piece inspections and routine in-process measurements using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other inspection tools. Quality Assurance: Verify finished parts meet customer specifications, identify nonconforming parts, and communicate quality concerns to supervisors or programming personnel. Machine Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine performance, tool wear, coolant levels, and production output while making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily machine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment operating efficiently. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Team Collaboration: Work closely with programmers, machinists, quality inspectors, engineering, and production leadership to improve processes and support on-time delivery. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or degree in Precision Machining, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technical Knowledge: CNC machine operation Blueprint reading GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Precision measuring equipment Shop mathematics Machine setup and tooling Understanding of machining practices Basic CNC programming knowledge CAD/CAM experience preferred Mastercam experience is a plus, but not required Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while maintaining production quality Willingness to continuously learn and help train others Additional Qualifications: Completion of a machining apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on machining experience preferred.
