Now Hiring: Returns Specialist (Warehouse)

Do you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and helping customers leave happy—even when they’re making a return? If so, we’ve got the perfect role for you! Homemakers Furniture is looking for a Returns Specialist to join our warehouse team.

This isn’t your “stand-behind-a-counter” kind of job—you’ll be moving, assembling, problem-solving, and making a big impact every day.

Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Includes both weekend days as part of your regular schedule

As a Returns Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for making returns and exchanges smooth and stress-free for our customers. You’ll also play a key role behind the scenes preparing products for our clearance center.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Helping customers with returns and exchanges (with a smile!)
• Processing returns and exchanges accurately in our system
• Inspecting returned items from delivery trucks
• Assembling and opening products for resale in our clearance center
• Using hand tools and power tools to prep merchandise
• Tagging and stocking clearance items
• Pulling sold items from the sales floor
• Re-wrapping returned or sold products
• Jumping in where needed—because teamwork makes the dream work!

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and ready to roll up their sleeves:

• Strong customer service skills (friendly, helpful, and solution-focused)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stay organized and follow through on tasks
• Warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience operating equipment (like forklifts) is a bonus (certification required where applicable)

This role keeps you on your feet and moving throughout your shift:

• Standing or walking for most of your 8-hour shift
• Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Lifting 50+ lbs (with assistance when needed)

You’ll work both indoors and outdoors in a warehouse setting. That means:
