Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

Overview Flowers Foods, Inc. is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods with a focus on quality and community. This role supports industrial maintenance in a food-production environment, driving safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Maintain the floor on shift: schedule and manage hourly staff, execute preventive maintenance (PMs), and manage line calls Communicate oncoming shift preparation and meetings with the previous and next shifts Review parts requests and manage parts checked out on shift (Parts Tag Receipt) Utilize SAP to review work request notifications, PM orders, and update breakdown notifications Execute small-scale maintenance projects Maintain shift reporting and plan for the next day Conduct employee reviews Train and coach technicians and apprentices Conduct critical process inspections Verify PM work performed by technicians (responsible for PM equipment on shift) Demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, time management, and adaptability Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.) Performs other duties as assigned, including scheduling adherence and attendance policies Possess or attain licenses required by regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience with knowledge in industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair/installation Essential Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is desired; high school diploma or equivalent is required Benefits Comprehensive health and medical benefits 401(k) retirement savings plan Professional growth and leadership training Paid vacation, holidays, and parental leave Benefits may vary depending on work location.
