As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in providing compassionate and efficient care to animals in our clinic. Our focus is on spay and neuter procedures, so you’ll enjoy a dynamic and rewarding workday without the added tasks of bathing, grooming, or boarding. Plus, with no nights or weekends required, you’ll have a schedule that supports your work-life balance.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for tasks such as:

• Assisting veterinarians during spay and neuter procedures.
• Preparing and maintaining surgical areas and equipment.
• Monitoring animals pre- and post-surgery to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Communicating with pet owners about pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

To be successful in this position, you’ll need:

• At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• A genuine passion for animals and their well-being.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A calm and compassionate demeanor when handling animals and interacting with their owners.
