Details Work setting is a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital Emergency Department 26-bed ED unit serving an all-ages patient population Common diagnoses and treatments include respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension (HTN) Patient ratio is 1:4-5, flexible depending on acuity Equipment includes GE monitors and standard ED equipment EMR is Meditech; experience preferred Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating to like assignments required 13-week contract Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of ED experience required Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required Social Security number required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment Bi-weekly orientation schedule available Scrubs of any color are acceptable; facility-branded scrubs are not permitted Ideal candidate is a team player with a positive, engaged attitude American Traveler Job ID #P-693379.
