Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: High Acuity Med Surge/Respiratory Care Duration: Holiday Coverage Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Med Surge/Tele License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, NHISS prior to start, ACLS Must-Have: Up-to-date resume, Skills Checklist matching specialty, Drivers licenses with matching address, NURSYS Report for license verification, RTO included Description: Looking for holiday coverage unfilled shifts. This is a high-acuity environment focusing on Med Surge and respiratory care. Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end-of-life care, and wound management. Ratios may be 1:5, sometimes 1:6. Travelers may be requested to float to other nearby facilities. Dysrhythmia exam will be required during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%.
