Travel RN - Pediatric ICU - Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring BLS, PALS, and a NC or Compact RN license in hand. Requirements Active NC or Compact RN license required in hand Current BLS and PALS certifications required Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required, 2 years highly preferred Previous charge experience preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skills in ventilator management, ECMO, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and management of congenital heart disease preferred 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Flu vaccine required with no exemptions during flu season (October 31 - March 31) Responsibilities Works in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) of a teaching hospital environment Cares for pediatric patients with congenital heart disease, post cardiac surgery, and other cardiovascular conditions Maintains a 1:2 patient ratio Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Required to work every other weekend Floating required Epic charting system experience preferred Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the CVICU, including post cardiac surgery and congenital heart disease management Utilize advanced skills such as ECMO, CRRT, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring as needed Orientation occurs bi-weekly First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius at a reduced pay rate Candidates must not have been a permanent employee of the health system within the past 6 months RTO must be limited to 5-7 days maximum at time of consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-740688 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
