Position: Program Manager Privacy & Data Governance (Hybrid - RTP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver large-scale, client-driven projects focused on privacy and data governance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to communicate with clients and stakeholders, assess needs, and clarify requirements.
- Develop, design, and implement improved business processes or solutions that align with consumer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project budgeting and provide regular financial status reports.
- Manage multiple projects or workstreams, balancing cross-functional priorities.
- Facilitate effective meetings and working sessions, driving clear objectives, capturing decisions, and ensuring follow-up.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, processes, and workflows.
- Prepare project plans, documentation, status reports, presentations, and related materials.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have):
- 5+ years of experience in program/project management, legal operations, privacy programs, or data governance.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects with cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including timeline establishment, dependency tracking, risk identification, and follow-through.
- Experience working with Legal, Privacy, Product, or other corporate functions.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and sessions, set agendas, guide discussions, and capture action items.
- Skilled at identifying process improvement opportunities and increasing operational effectiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle ambiguity.
- Experience in developing project plans, status reporting, process documentation, and program materials.
Desired Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience supporting corporate privacy, data governance, compliance, legal operations, or risk management programs.
- Experience coordinating initiatives involving Legal, Privacy, Product, or other business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with privacy/data protection frameworks and regulations (e.g., EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Asia-Pacific CBPR, cross-border data transfer programs).
- Experience supporting privacy-related regulatory or certification initiatives.
- Understanding of privacy, security, assurance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Cisco environments is a plus but not required.
Additional Details/Requirements:
- Role reports to the Privacy Legal Lead, supporting the Privacy Program and Certifications.
- Full-time assignment through mid-January.
- Prefer candidate to be onsite in RTP (hybrid work arrangement).
- No travel or overtime funding required.
- Interviews will be conducted via WebEx.
- Supplying agencies must provide an attestation on how each candidate meets or exceeds the requirements, including a skills rating.
