Salt Hotel & Pub, a small, independent 21-room hotel overlooking the Port of Ilwaco, WA, is looking for an experienced housekeeper to join our team.

What You’ll Do

As an Experienced Hotel Housekeeper, your primary responsibility will be preparing guest rooms and shared spaces to a consistently high standard. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: - Clean and organize guest rooms and common areas with efficiency and attention to detail. - Maintain the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. - Operate onsite laundry facilities and ensure linens are fresh and ready. - Work independently, managing your time effectively to meet daily turnover goals. - Be available most Sundays, with flexible hours ranging from 15–30 hours per week depending on your availability and demand.

For candidates interested in expanding their role, optional front desk and guest experience duties may be available. This includes assisting guests, solving problems, and ensuring their stay is memorable.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who: - Has at least 1 year of professional housekeeping or cleaning experience. - Enjoys cleaning, organizing, and enhancing the guest experience. - Works efficiently without compromising quality. - Is reliable, communicative, and comfortable working independently. - Can climb stairs and safely lift up to 40 pounds.

For those interested in optional front desk responsibilities, we value: - Previous hospitality or hotel experience. - Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment. - A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. - Clear communication and dependable follow-through. - Additional language skills and an interest in personal growth are a plus.
