The Production Technician works in a controlled cleanroom environment to manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). You will follow detailed instructions, including Standard Operating Procedures, work documents, and technical drawings, to ensure products meet strict quality and consistency standards. This role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, and package BioProcess Containers in a cleanroom environment while adhering to cGMP requirements.

• Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings to complete production tasks accurately and consistently.

• Perform cleanroom production activities such as general production work, assembly, assembly line operations, and packaging.

• Handle materials and components safely and efficiently, supporting warehouse and order picking activities as needed.

• Accurately enter production-related data into computer systems and training modules to maintain complete and compliant records.

• Inspect components and finished products for quality, identifying issues and escalating concerns according to established procedures.

• Use hand tools and production equipment safely to assemble and package products.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with cleanroom and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Follow all gowning, personal protective equipment (PPE), and chemical hygiene requirements, including proper handling of disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.

• Collaborate with team members and support a positive, team-oriented production environment.

• Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity expectations while working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work effectively in a controlled cleanroom environment and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

• Basic computer skills to complete training modules and enter production data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues in the production process.

• Good verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with team members.

• Ability to follow detailed procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and technical drawings with high attention to detail.

• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support others in a fast-paced production environment.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.

• Comfort with frequent forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.

• Commitment to wearing required cleanroom gowning, including gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, and safety glasses, and to working without makeup or jewelry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• One year of production experience is preferred but not required.

• Experience in production, assembly, warehouse work, or order picking is beneficial.

• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and general production environments.

• Experience with assembly line work and packaging processes.

• Understanding of chemical hygiene practices and safe handling of disinfectants, solvents, and IPA.

• Prior experience using hand tools and basic production equipment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment where you may work up to 10 hours per day with the possibility of overtime. Cleanroom conditions typically maintain humidity above 30%, temperatures between 60–70°F, and ambient noise levels consistent with a production facility. You will wear full cleanroom gowning, including gloves, hair/beard net, face cover, and safety glasses, and you must be comfortable working without makeup or jewelry in order to meet cleanroom standards. The position involves frequent standing, bending, reaching, gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions throughout the shift, as well as occasional lifting and handling of up to 40 lbs unassisted. You will use hand tools, production equipment, and personal protective equipment while working with disinfectants, solvents, and IPA in accordance with chemical hygiene and safety procedures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEBANON, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.28/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
