TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Greer, South Carolina, 29651!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years; will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis License: Pending license accepted; must obtain before starting Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day. Shaving may be required to pass a fit test onsite, failure to do so will result in not meeting fit testing requirements. Description: Position available in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. Travelers will be required to float to assigned units as needed. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be considered. It is essential that travelers adhere to the attendance policy. More than two missed shifts per contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review or cancellation. Recent experience with electronic health records is preferred, but not mandatory for application. Candidates must successfully complete a cardiac dysrhythmia test on the first day of orientation. This role involves caring for adult patients requiring acute interventions. The population served generally consists of adults with various medical and surgical conditions. Continuous cardiac monitoring is a requirement for many patients. Additional procedures may include peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. This is an opportunity for nurses seeking to expand their skills in a dynamic environment.
