Our client is Looking an experienced IT Asset Management Leader to oversee enterprise-wide technology asset governance, inventory operations, and lifecycle management. This role will lead the planning, control, and optimization of hardware, software, and related technology assets while ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Asset Lifecycle Management

• Design, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end IT asset lifecycle practices, covering acquisition, utilization, redeployment, and retirement of technology assets.
• Establish controls and procedures for effective asset tracking throughout organizational changes, including installations, transfers, upgrades, and decommissions.
• Provide recommendations on asset refresh, repurposing, and retirement strategies to maximize value and minimize risk.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Partner closely with procurement and business stakeholders to support technology sourcing initiatives.
• Contribute to product evaluation, supplier assessment, contract reviews, and acquisition planning for hardware, software, and related services.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships while monitoring contractual obligations, licensing requirements, and service commitments.

Asset Inventory Administration

• Lead the administration and governance of enterprise IT asset repositories and inventory management platforms.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain software entitlement records, hardware inventories, supplier information, and related asset documentation.

Financial & Budget Management

• Develop and manage operational and capital budgets associated with technology assets and related programs.
• Monitor expenditures, forecast future investments, and provide regular budget performance updates to leadership.
• Ensure inventory-related financial records are accurate and aligned with organizational reporting requirements.

Inventory Control & Compliance

• Direct periodic audits and physical asset verification activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to reconcile discrepancies and ensure compliance with established governance standards.
• Oversee asset disposal activities and ensure adherence to approved environmental, security, and regulatory requirements.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Support organizational technology and business objectives through effective asset management strategies.
• Identify opportunities to enhance asset utilization, reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve service delivery.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide operational leadership for asset management programs, ensuring policies, procedures, and objectives are consistently achieved.
• Build strong partnerships across IT, Finance, Procurement, and other business functions.
• Communicate program updates, recommendations, and performance outcomes through professional presentations, reports, and stakeholder discussions.

Governance, Standards & Reporting

• Develop and maintain operational standards, procedures, and best practices related to IT asset management.
• Create and monitor key performance indicators, service metrics, project milestones, and program benchmarks.
• Deliver regular reporting on asset status, inventory levels, budgets, program performance, and improvement initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities
