Job Description Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Oversee general ledger operations, financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations. Serve as the technical accounting expert for GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and cost accounting. Manage annual external audits and maintain year-round audit readiness. Lead accounting policy development, internal controls, and process documentation. Oversee inventory, manufacturing cost accounting, fixed assets, and contract accounting. Partner with operations, finance, and program leadership on financial reporting and contract performance. Play a key leadership role in ERP implementation and accounting system improvements. Develop, mentor, and lead members of the accounting team. Drive automation, efficiency, and continuous process improvements across the finance function. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA designation required. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition. Manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience. Experience leading annual financial statement audits. Advanced Excel skills. Experience using modern ERP systems. Leadership experience managing accounting staff. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. U.S. person status required with ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
