PT - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist - Outpatient/Inpatient | Alaska

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday - Friday, Days

The Physical Therapist will provide full-time, quality outpatient and inpatient physical therapy care, treating patients of all age ranges and diagnoses within the State of Alaska's physical therapy scope of practice. This role incorporates evidence-based medicine into patient plans of care, exemplifying professional conduct and patient care ethics while respecting cultural diversity. The therapist will modify patient care plans using age-specific and patient-specific considerations and support the mission of the healthcare organization.

Deliver quality physical therapy care to diverse patient demographics.

Incorporate evidence-based practices into patient treatment plans.

Adjust patient care plans based on individual needs and conditions.

Document patient care thoroughly and accurately.

Communicate effectively with medical staff, peers, and administrative personnel.

Engage with patients from different cultures, including those with limited English proficiency.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.

Current PT license in good standing in Alaska or completion of FSBPT paperwork for post-graduation work.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

No minimum clinical experience required; hospital-based experience is helpful.
