Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions with clients, employing evidence-based techniques tailored to specific mental health needs.

• Provide couples therapy that focuses on enhancing communication and resolving conflicts, utilizing strategies such as Emotionally Focused Therapy or the Gottman Method.

• Engage with families to address complex relational dynamics, employing family systems therapy methods to promote healthy interactions and conflict resolution strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessment of client progress, needs, and goals, and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Assess and diagnose a variety of mental health disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews for accurate evaluation and effective intervention.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation regarding client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in compliance with clinic policies and licensing requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. Many of our clients seek therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
