Electrical Authorised Person

You will be working in the Infrastructure function working on our Anglian Water Project. Through our role in the @one Alliance, we’re helping Anglian Water deliver a £2.6billion investment in vital infrastructure. From civil works to water treatment facilities, this programme strengthens environmental protection across the East of England - safeguarding water resources for generations to come. We are currently looking for an Electrical Authorised Person who will deliver projects safely, on time, and sustainably - driving efficiency and strong performance without compromising governance. As the Electrical Authorised Person , you will: Lead and coordinate electrical supervisors, electricians, and apprentices across multiple projects to deliver work safely and efficiently. Ensure full compliance with @one Alliance electrical safety rules, statutory regulations, permits, isolations, and safe systems of work. Drive a strong site safety culture through inspections, toolbox talks, pre-start briefings, and visible leadership. Monitor progress, productivity, subcontractors, and commissioning activities to keep delivery on programme and within budget. Oversee quality, certification, and resource planning while developing teams and promoting innovation and digital ways of working. We are looking for: CSCS-affiliated Electrical Supervisor card with proven experience supervising electrical works on site. Strong Mechanical and Electrical experience, ideally within the water or wider construction sector. Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition, with C&G 2391/2394/2395 Inspection and Testing certification. CITB SMSTS, First Aid, and EUSR National Water Hygiene Card, with experience issuing permits and acting as an Electrical Appointed Person. Strong technical, leadership, and communication skills, including knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations, WIMES, DSEAR/ATEX, electrical drawings, and digital ways of working.
