About the Role Your primary responsibilities as a Commercial Sales Professional include inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and presenting solution proposals to clients. You’ll start with several months of training and gain state‑required licenses and certificates before leading your own customer accounts. What Your Days Will Look Like Complete online training modules and receive on‑the‑job instruction from teammates, learning product knowledge and sales techniques. Inspect and assess pest problems, then recommend Terminix solutions following company policy and pricing instructions. Focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, conducting follow‑ups, and developing creative strategies for relationship growth. Generate new business by meeting potential customers and selling effective solutions. Opportunity to advance into management or other career paths within Terminix. Some Non‑Negotiables High school education or GED. Strong customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills. Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing in all units of measure). Straight Talk About the Physical Demands of Our Work Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently. Engage in active movement: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking on uneven surfaces. Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain it clean. Perform detail‑oriented tasks with close vision. Wear personal protective equipment and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways as required.
