SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior

DescriptionThis role is remote and can be South Carolina or Georgia. Ideally would like someone in Macon, Savannah, Augusta, or Brunswick, GA.Summary:The SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr. is responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to Small Business Administration (SBA) loan eligible businesses with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for self sourcing SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. Typical loan amounts are for $350K - $5MM.Reviews financial statements and supporting documents, structures SBA loan proposals, completes initial analysis, and prepares credit package.Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines and organization policies.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experienceA minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experiencePreferred Qualifications:Business or Finance degreeSBA loan originating experience and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsMust have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor.Strong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to multi-taskPC and internet proficiencyExempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)YesWorkplace Type:RemoteOur Approach to Office Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
