Evening Certified or Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor:

Position Overview We are hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor for our clinic located at 2822 E. Colfax, Denver, CO 80206. The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm to midnight. Pay ranges from $24.00 to $34.00 per hour based on credentials and experience, with an additional $5 hr differential for this shift. Pay is distributed bi‑weekly. Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect therapy services to outpatients requiring therapy skills and interventions. Deliver case management services to coordinate care with primary care physicians, other prescribing physicians, probation, parole, child/adult services, and related supporting services. Attend all clinic team meetings and company training. Maintain client records and data in compliance with regulatory agencies. Apply assessment, evaluation, and reassessment data to develop, update, and monitor treatment plans. Incorporate individuals’ and families’ strengths, barriers, and needs into treatment plan components. Document treatment goals, objectives, and discharge plans using client language. Reassess treatment effectiveness and adapt plans as needed. Support recovery principles by integrating clinical modalities and interventions according to applicable protocols. Maintain continuity among clinical teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds as required. Qualifications License or certification as a CAT, CAS, LAC, LCSW, LPC, or possession of a Master’s in Social Work/Behavioral Health. Minimum 2 years of addiction counseling experience (preferred).
