Adelska is a Denver based event strategy and production agency creating experiences that bring people together. Our work spans community festivals, placemaking, corporate events, sponsorship, and creative marketing.

Our community portfolio includes festivals, markets, concerts, and large scale public events produced in partnership with cities, municipalities, business districts, and community organizations. Some welcome a few hundred people. Others welcome more than 20,000.

We are growing and looking for an experienced Senior Community Event Coordinator who genuinely loves producing community events and festivals.

The Role

This is a hands on event production role for someone who can take ownership of an event from kickoff through execution and debrief.

You’ll manage the details that make large public events work: vendors, entertainment, permitting, site logistics, timelines, budgets, public safety coordination, staffing, production partners, and everything that happens onsite.

We’re looking for someone who already understands the realities of producing festivals and public events. You know that the site plan will change, a vendor will call with a problem, weather will become a conversation, and something unexpected will happen five minutes before gates open.

You don’t need someone standing next to you telling you what to do next. You figure it out, communicate it, and keep moving.

What You'll Do

• Lead planning and execution for assigned community events, festivals, markets, concerts, and public programs
• Build and manage event timelines, production schedules, run of shows, site plans, and operational documents
• Coordinate vendors, entertainment, food and beverage, production partners, activations, and event services
• Work directly with municipal departments, government agencies, public safety teams, venues, property managers, and community partners
• Manage permitting, inspections, accessibility, safety planning, and site logistics
• Participate in client meetings and communicate proactively throughout the planning process
• Manage event budgets, vendor proposals, contracts, invoices, and expenses
• Coordinate staffing and lead teams onsite
• Oversee load in, live event execution, and load out
• Anticipate problems and make smart decisions quickly when plans change
• Support sponsorship activations and revenue generating components of events
• Track event data and contribute to comprehensive post event reports and recommendations
• Manage multiple events, clients, and deadlines at the same time

Who We're Looking For

You have at least five years of professional event planning and production experience, with meaningful experience producing festivals, community events, outdoor events, or other large public gatherings.

Experience working with municipalities, government agencies, special districts, business improvement districts, or other public sector partners is strongly preferred.

More importantly, you know how to own your work.

You’re organized without needing to be micromanaged. You communicate when something changes instead of waiting for someone to ask. You care about the details because you understand that the details affect the client, the team, and the guest experience.

You’re confident enough to lead and humble enough to jump in wherever you’re needed.

You stay calm when things get stressful. You tell the truth when something goes wrong. You come with solutions. And you understand that at Adelska, the client comes first.

This role requires availability for evenings and weekends based on the event calendar and reliable transportation for meetings, site visits, and events throughout the Front Range.

Compensation & Employment Structure

This position will begin as a 90 day contract to hire, giving both you and Adelska the opportunity to make sure the role is the right long term fit.

Upon successful completion of the 90 day period, the position will transition to full time employment with an annual salary of $75,000–$85,000, depending on experience, plus eligibility for a performance based bonus structure.
