We are currently seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for an exciting opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
Requirements
• Minimum 1+ year of Sterile Processing experience
• Active CRCST or CIS certification required
• Strong knowledge of instrument decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and distribution processes
Job Duties:
• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Operate sterilization equipment, including steam sterilizers and low-temperature sterilization systems
• Prepare and package instruments and trays according to established standards and procedures
• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain accurate documentation and records
• Perform quality checks to ensure instruments are functioning properly and ready for patient use
• Manage inventory levels and maintain adequate sterile supplies
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments
