Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:

Manage daily bookkeeping activities including journal entries and transaction posting Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments Assist with month-end close by preparing supporting schedules and reports Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation Support financial reporting by preparing basic reports and summaries Assist with audit preparation and provide requested documentation Identify and help implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 25+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Experience with account reconciliations and transactional accounting Proficiency in Excel and accounting software Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently in an onsite environment while collaborating with a team
