Since 2017, from our Visalia and Fresno offices, we've designed the streets, water systems, and public spaces Central Valley communities rely on every day. Community engagement isn't a side activity for us — it's how good infrastructure gets built.

The Role

You'll plan and run our community outreach: organizing public events like community paint days and tactical urbanism demonstrations, coordinating public meetings and workshops, and representing A&M at community gatherings. You'll also support the office with light administrative duties.

Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and execute community outreach events and public workshops

- Coordinate event logistics: venues, supplies, signage, canopies, tables, setup/teardown

- Engage residents, city staff, and community groups; build local relationships

- Support outreach campaigns (flyers, social media, mailers)

- Assist with minor office duties: phones, scheduling, filing, supplies

- Track outreach participation and gather community feedback

Qualifications

- Experience in event planning, community engagement, or public-facing roles

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (event equipment, tables, canopies)

- Valid driver's license; able to travel to event sites in the Central Valley

- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

- Weekend/evening availability for occasional events
