Smith Personnel Solutions is seeking a motivated Crew Leader to guide a production team responsible for building structural trusses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, keeping teams organized, and ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

• Location: Sunnyvale, TX
• Shift: First Shift
• Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily floor truss assembly operations and help the team meet production goals

• Assign tasks to crew members and monitor workflow to maintain efficiency

• Ensure work orders, drawings, and setup instructions are followed accurately

• Inspect completed work to confirm quality and proper assembly

• Promote a safe work environment and ensure team members follow safety procedures and use PPE

• Train and support team members on equipment use, production processes, and quality expectations

• Ensure materials and supplies are staged and ready for production

• Communicate production updates, issues, or material needs to supervisors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Experience in truss manufacturing, construction, or a similar production environment preferred

• Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read work orders and basic production drawings

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an active manufacturing setting
