Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Located in the healthcare setting, this position involves providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a specialized intensive care environment. The Clinical Nurse will coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing, licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The candidate will support a shared staffing model between the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Flexibility to work across both areas is necessary. The role involves patient assessment, patient education, clinical nursing care, and utilization of healthcare organization standards and interdisciplinary collaboration.
